The goal of our Mobile Medical Outreach Program is to put together medical missions teams to address the needs within The Village of HOPE, the surrounding communities, and the homeless community.   Village of Hope staff accomplishes this through well-established relationships with area churches, ministries and government.  In addition, we are developing new relationships with medical professionals, dental professionals, therapists, chiropractors and holistic care specialists so that we have the ability to care for any need that is presented.

So far, we are able to provide the following services:

  • General health care
  • Wound care
  • Prenatal care
  • Diagnostics and specialist references
  • Follow up care
  • HIV and other testing and counseling
  • Basic prescriptions and dispensing of medication

Another function of our mobile unit will be to educate the community on a variety of topics, especially HIV education.  We are currently educating judges, social workers, school systems and municipalities about the reality of  living with HIV.

We are able to provide the following educational workshops:

  • HIV Education
  • Health/hygiene
  • Nutrition
